#31DaysWithTheAnchor – Day 11

Topic: CASTING ALL YOUR CARES ON HIM

Meditate:

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 6: 30-33

Cares, burdens, Fears; For all are offsprings of the same family. The truth is that we all are facing one challenge or the other and the fact is that for every point or phase of our lives, there is always a battle that is needed to be won. And trying to win it by ourselves will only be fruitless except we get help from Him who is capable to deliver us of our unborn victories.

I for one am a proof of this. I have lived and I am still living. There were times in my life I had always feared what my “tomorrow” would bring, of what it would become! Trust me, it was never easy, there came depressing times, but of those moments, my depression never became oppression to making nasty actions, but rather became an intercession which co-existed between God and I.

I always had the understanding it was a time to pour out my heart to him from my heart and tell him my needs as a relationship between a Father and Child. Note the word “relationship”. Our lesson yesterday pinpointed the fact of building a relationship with the Anchor; knowing the Anchor.

In the same manner, you only cast your cares on someone you know and trust can solve all life issues.

Matthew 6:33
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness”

Seek first!

There is no burden that God’s scale cannot weigh, just believe in Him and talk to Him about them. Man’s strength is limited and predictable, put your trust in God and watch him turn things around. Though it may tarry, His promises are true and will never go unaccomplished.

So when next you face a challenge and it gets so twisted, take a deep breath, smile and say from your heart ‘it is well and I will be alright’.

Learn to stay calm amidst the storm,
Learn not to panic when you walk through the valley of shadows,
Learn to smile even in the face of death.
Just a faith as little as a grain of mustard seed, mountains are moved.

Every man has a purpose in life. Ours is to help people discover, rediscover and fulfill their purpose. We believe that the young generation are the building blocks and foundation of the next new thing the world is about to experience.
