Unconditional Love
One of the priceless gifts given to us is LOVE and one of the best thing that can happen to anyone; man or woman, guy or lady is to feel LOVED.
I have come to realize that it is at times when I fall, times when I make mistakes, times when I falter, times when I really want to give up on myself and every other thing that means something to me; it is at such times that God’s love feels much stronger and evident. This does not mean He loves us less when we are standing firm and upright however, it is at times of need that we feel His love stronger and much more expressed.
Much like a mother and her child; she loves her child so much but if the child falls sick or gets into trouble, this love is more expressed with actions that show depths of love even up to acts of sacrifice.
At times such as this, God’s love calls out to us and reaches out to us even in the deepest pit or mess we got ourselves into and this Love does not just stop at reaches us but it also brings us out.
Someone once told me not too long ago, no matter how hard you try, you cannot lose God’s love. His love is consistent regardless of who you are, what you have been through and what you have done and no matter how deep in sin you go, His love will always find you. He loved us even in our most despicable state. Our imperfect nature did not stop a perfect God from running after us; out clumsiness did not and does not deter Him from always making efforts to reorganize our lives.
The Great Shepherd that will willingly leave the ninety and nine obedient and loyal sheep just to go after that one disobedient, stubborn and lost sheep. Who does that?
Sounds ironic, but it is at times I fall that I feel God is closer to me than ever before. These are times He makes me realize how wrong I am but never condemn me but would rather draw me closer to Himself and tell me; “You are not where you want to be yet, but you are not where you used to be either.”
Amazing… Isn’t it? Little wonder it is called Unconditional…
Love that loves you in good times and the most terrible times…
Love that loves you no matter the circumstances you find yourself…
Love that is ready to pick you up from the dirtiest dump yard, clean you up and give you a sit amongst the royals…
Love that never gives up on you…
Love that loves; consistently and unconditionally…
Nothing on earth or even in heaven can separate us from this love.
Greater love hath no man than this; a man laying his life for his friends…
This is love at its peak
Love at its purest
Love that is overwhelming
Love that overcomes
Love that is unconditional!!!
