#31DaysWithTheAnchor – Day 12
Topic: The Anchor Is Enough
Meditate:
But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and every other thing shall be added to you
Another study about the anchor. The anchor this, the anchor that. But do we actually realize that the anchor is just enough?
I remember my mom telling me about how she was looking for the fruit of the womb for eight years before she eventually had my sister. She tried every other means to have a child in her home. She gave alms, met people, took a lot of concoctions and a couple more things before she eventually went to the house of the Lord. She went to identify herself with the anchor.
The anchor not only blessed her womb, during her time of delivery, but her child was also born in the Father’s house. It was because God wanted her to know that He was enough and He still is.
I used to be extremely scared of vehicles’ and motorcycles’ speed until I decided in my heart to eliminate fear from my thoughts while on a bike or in a vehicle. I am writing this in relation to the fact that some of us think relying on God is one of the most difficult things to do. But the real question is, have you given the anchor your burden to bear fully?
Matthew 11:28-30 are one of my favorite verses in the Bible. You can’t give the Lord your burdens to bear and still feel weighed down.
You cannot find and have the anchor and not have sufficiency.
The anchor is all you need.
The anchor is ENOUGH!
Task of the Day:
While talking to the Lord today, declare that the Lord your anchor is enough.
