Trust

Life is like an empty canvas, imagine the picture you want, pick up your brush and let God hold your hand to paint it, sometimes it’ll feel like the picture might not turn out how want it, true, it’ll come out much better, if and only if you’d let him hold your hand. “Human wisdom is so tinny, so impotent, next to the seeming absurdity of God. Human strength can’t begin to compete with God’s “weakness.”(1 Corinthians 1:25 MSG) One of the most essential parts of a relationship is Trust. Christianity is not just a mere religion with rules of do’s and don’t’s , it’s a relationship but again is it possible to build a relationship with someone you don’t trust? Not exactly. We have to learn and master the art of trusting God, why? you might ask.

Well first, we’re humans and just in case you didn’t know or forgot, humans make mistakes. Ever being in a situation when you did something wrong and at the aftermath you’re wondering why you did it in the first place? Sometimes in a bid to get a particular colour for our picture, we attempt to create it by mixing certain colours together but in the end, the result is not what we expected. Remember, there’s a way that seems right to man but the end is death.

Also, who could be better fit to paint our picture than the one who knows what we want and the dynamics of the paint and painting? Recall what he said to Jeremiah?

Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you: A prophet to the nations that’s what I had in mind for you.

Jeremiah 1:5

We have the confidence to trust God with our beloved picture because he knows just what is right for us and the right mix to make it happen.

Now we know this is not easy, it’s not easy for us to totally let go of the wheel and let him take control, sometimes we’ll feel shortcuts are better to get what we want but one thing I love most about Christianity is that we’re never alone. We have the Holy Spirit to help us so when it feels like the colours are not coming out right, like we’re lost the purpose of our picture, we go back to him, ask him to help us trust totally.

Every man has a purpose in life. Ours is to help people discover, rediscover and fulfill their purpose. We believe that the young generation are the building blocks and foundation of the next new thing the world is about to experience.
