Why We Exist
Africa is home to the world’s youngest population, yet millions of young people across the continent lack access to the resources and opportunities needed to thrive. From sub-urban and rural communities to bustling urban centres, countless young Africans struggle with limited access to quality education, skills development, and platforms for self-expression.
The Challenge
The barriers young Africans face are multifaceted. Poverty, poor educational infrastructure, and systemic marginalisation leave many unable to access the knowledge, training, and support they need to build a brighter future. While young people worldwide benefit from well-established education systems, mentorship, and career development, their African counterparts are often left to navigate life with little guidance, forced to do the bare minimum to survive.
With limited opportunities at home, many risk their lives searching for greener pastures, embarking on dangerous journeys across the Mediterranean Sea and beyond, hoping for a better future. Yet, we believe that Africa’s young people should not have to leave their homeland to find hope. They should have the resources, support, and community needed to realise their full potential right where they are.
Our Belief
We believe that young Africans are not just the future—they are the now. Given the right tools, they have the potential to lead, innovate, and transform their communities and the world. If they have access to the same opportunities as their peers globally, Africa can become a beacon of growth, excellence, and impact.
