I want to share something with you that really touched and inspired me.

The Survivors
While watching the movie; “Soul Surfer”, I was inspired to write this poem, and begin a series where we learn from the great survivors of our time and times before now. This will lead to us finding hope no matter what we have faced or what we are going through… Someone has been where you are right now…
TEARS
Tears are caused and formed by our fears; fear of what you may ask; the fear of pain, the type of pain that punctures your heart like a needle. Even the mighty cannot hold back these elements of humanity when it hurts most. It shows how much of humans we really are; even Jesus let them out.
Faults In Our Stars
Stars are diamonds in the sky
Deep in space they lie
They are treasures placed so high
They are a beauty to the eye
LIGHT IN DARKNESS
The life-light blazed out of darkness; the darkness couldn’t put it out.
The whole earth is wrapped in darkness, all earth sunk in deep darkness.
Nations will come to your light, kings to your sunburst brightness.
Here is another way to put it: You are here to be light, bringing out the God-colours in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. Do you put a light-bearer under a bucket? You have been put on a light-stand and you are right there on the hilltop–Shine!
FIRST DAY BACK AT SCHOOL
I had on new clothes,
New sneaks on my feet
I was there for class on time,
Went to the back and took my seat.
THE ICEBREAKER WITH ADEKOYA ADEDAYO
The Icebreaker is an interview aimed at helping youths and teens understand what is out there for them as well as breaking down the roles of each individual in every unit of the society, eventually teaching them how to face and break through challenges associated with the society. “No matter how hard, it can be broken”.

The Altar
The Altar is a place of worship, relationship, and communion with the father as well as a place of offering sacrifice. A lot of altars have been long broken, forgotten and the connection between man and God destroyed. God seeks people that will rebuild these altars and reconcile man back to God. (2 Cor. 5:18-19).
He Did It Just For Us
He was led like a sheep to the slaughter
Nailed, beaten and killed just because of me
It couldn’t have been because of me
The least deserving.
