The Stretching
In recent times, God has been teaching me on the real meaning of what it means to be stretched.
I want to believe that you reading this now know what a catapult is? (It is the tool we believe David used to kill Goliath).
Now you know that before you use a catapult, you put a tool in it while you stretch and launch. The distance you are launching it to will determine the volume of your stretch. (The volume for 15km stretch is definitely not the same with a 100km stretch).
Here the Holy Spirit was teaching me that we are the tool in the catapult and the hand of God is the catapult. Now as believers, the day you give your life to Christ, YOU ENTER INTO THE CATAPULT (The hand of God). The day you discover destiny, HE BEGINS TO STRETCH YOU!
THAT TIME YOU WENT OUT TO PREACH AND THEY POURED DIRTY WATER ON YOU, THEY SLAPPED YOU,
THEY ABUSED YOU, THEY CHASED YOU AWAY WITH HOT WATER. IT IS THE STRETCHING!
You are praying and it looks like nothing is happening!
You are preaching Jesus but your shoes have a fantastic hole!
You are seen with one shirt and one trouser for years, so much so that they describe you with that shirt!
You wake up at 1 am to 3 am to PRAY and study, still, The Glory of God is not seen in you!
You do 3days dry fasting, you do six to six fasting for 6months and still, it looks like nothing is happening!
You go to church but there is no money for offering!
You treck to a crusade and treck back home, still, it looks like nothing is happening!
Your landlord keeps embarrassing you for house rent, yeeee!
Your own friends mock you saying “Jesus pikin, call your Jesus to come and deliver you”
You go to God in Prayer and he says to you “I AM WITH YOU” still everything is looking upside down! You feel nothing is working for you!
Some times you go into your room to CRY!
YOU ARE TEMPTED TO DENY GOD
IT IS THE S T R E T C H I N G!
HEAR ME! There’s a reason why you are going through that suffering! God wants to equip you with all the ARSENALS you need for where he’s launching you to. God cannot launch you if he has not cooked you so hard so that you can stand anything the devil brings your way! God is killing many fleshy attributes in you! He’s aware of all that you are going through and HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU.
The beautiful part is that the suffering you are going through now can not be compared to the Glory inside of you and many dilapidated souls are waiting for your manifestation to come out of bondage.
Romans 8: 18 & 19
18. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
- For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Don’t give up on God. When you stay faithful to him he himself will be faithful to you. That’s when he launches you to his realms of glory.
WHEN YOUR OWN SHADOW BEGINS TO HEAL THE SICK. WHEN YOU JUST SPEAK TO A DEAD PERSON AND THEY COME BACK TO LIFE WITHOUT YOU NECESSARILY TOUCHING THEM.
You must know that you can’t get to that level if you don’t allow God to cook you well.
Make sure you don’t come out of that catapult because when you do, you’ll become a half done minister and hear me, such minister will never fly!
So hold God to his word. Whatever he has said to you, make sure you hold on to it because He is a COVENANT keeping God.
WE ARE TOO IMPORTANT FOR GOD TO JOKE WITH!
GOD IS NOT A MAN THAT HE SHOULD LIE….
As rain falls down and does not go up, that is how his word to you is, it does not return to him void (empty).
Whatever he has said to you WILL definitely to pass, though it may tarry, one thing is certain, IT WILL SURELY COME TO PASS.
Habakkuk 2 : 3.
WAIT FOR GOD’S TIME!
KEEP PRAYING!
CONTINUE IN YOUR FASTING!
PREACH JESUS!
GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN YOU AND HE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU.
YOU ARE DEPOSITING INTO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT IN HEAVEN, BY THE TIME YOU START WITHDRAWING IT, THE WORLD WILL THINK IS MAGIC.
NEVER LOSE HOPE ON GOD
