The Lord is my Anchor,

Yes, He’s my anchor that never lets go,

Though the skies start to turn dark,

Though the seas begin to roar,

Though the oceans go deeper than I could ever wander,

Though the false security of men tempt me to let go just a little yonder,

Yes, He’s my Anchor that never lets go,

As the branch stays secured in its vine,

As a good bottle steadily holds its wine,

So am I safely found in Him,

As confident as the eagle is in its wings,

As confident as the lion is in its strength,

So is my confidence in His Faithfulness,

So my soul sings out in delight,

The eyes of my heart are illuminated by His light,

Because I know and I am sure,

As mountains surround Jerusalem,

So The Lord surrounds me,

As sure as the sun rises each morning,

So His love remains never fading,
