Decisions Teenagers Make That Affect Them On The Long Run By Leshi

The teenage life is likened to a journey to a known destination – success – but through an unknown route – challenges.

Be cautious sage, be willing to learn gobshite. One simple step on the wrong track will lead you to the forest where the angry animals are ever ready to devour you.

Yet, go! don’t stop.

You don’t have all the time in the world.

Follow your instincts and be guided by your morals.

Be mindful of where you think you are, because it ultimately determines your destination for it is said that the “journey is the destination”

You think the journey is a race? Be careful not to speed past the next crook.

It’s not about who gets there first, it’s about how many you can help get there, the journey isn’t just for you then. Therefore be mindful of the multitudes behind you the next generation succeeding about you.

You think it’s a drama? Be realistic, this journey decides your life, your being.

You think it’s a marathon? Be enduring.

Whatever you label this journey, bear in mind, it’s a test you can choose to pass or fail.

You have all the resources to pass this test though, you just have to make the best use of the resources. Stay calm! Never mind your pace, as long as you aren’t stagnant. Crawl, move, run, fly; just progress! Slowly or speedily, progress!

Don’t get distracted! The fact that many people are on that track doesn’t mean it’s the right one! Follow your instincts I say, don’t allow other people’s thought to become yours. Once you allow that, you are totally lost in the journey – living for others.

Again! Don’t get misdirected dear one. Does that route have more activities on it? That still doesn’t indicate that it’s the right one. If it doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t right. Trust yourself enough to listen to what you have to say.

Someone criticized you for being so guided by what he thinks is mere thoughts?

Nevermind that. Don’t forgo your thoughts – not even the random ones – for others’ bleak opinion. Stay on track!

Endeavor to learn dear one, listen to everyone but follow no one. Be insightful of others opinions. Learn as fast as you can.

 Be dedicated! The journey is a mystery you have to understand.

Be contended dear one, use the resources you have and can get, stop whiling away time on the ones you don’t have. And don’t forget to have fun through the hardships, it’s a once in a lifetime journey afterward – but do not be carried away by the flow of the tunes.

Be cautious, willful and oriented. And as long as you are sure there’s a destination, don’t stop moving.

And if you’ve gotten off track, falling off the trail, it’s not a problem “It is easier to climb up on an empty stomach than a full one”.Get back on the right track and be oriented. Don’t get distracted. Never again.

Your decision is important journeyer, decide wisely and be bound to a course because you are always a decision away from the right track—from success.

And know that the journey won’t get easier —even after the teenage age, there’s adulthood, your decisions now determine that though—you only get stronger.

As Alfred Lord Tennyson once said;

“That which we are, we are;

One equal temper of heroic hearts made weak by time and fate but strong in will.

To strive, to seek, to find and not to yield”

Never to yield!

“Safe journey ”
