Be Who God Has Called You To Be

Fear is one of the major things that keeps us from becoming who God has called us to be.  It could be  fear of failure,  fear of coming out of the circles we find ourselves, fear of trying out new things , fear of what others will think,  fear of criticism, fear of not being good enough, fear of others knowing your past,  fear of responsibility or fear of rejection. All these can prevent you from becoming who God has destined you to be.

Fear makes us want to be who people wants us to be and do what people wants us to do instead of what God has called us to do. Fear makes us strive to be like others instead of striving to be like Christ.

Fear is like a cage that blocks people from seeing the light of God’s Grace and Glory and also from being a reflection of that light.

The only way we can be the difference , is when we become who God has called us to be. And fear is one of the major tool the enemy uses to prevent us from becoming who God has called us to be.

But there is good news and the good news is that God is with us and He is willing to help us overcome this thing called fear.

Isaiah 41:10 says “ so do not fear,  for I Am with you ; do not be dismayed,  for I Am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you,  I will uphold you with My righteous right hand”. And so when you want to take steps towards becoming who God has called you to be and fear starts to creep in, be at rest and don’t let fear overcome you because your Father in Heaven is holding your hands and He’ll never let you go. And remember,  we have not received the spirit of fear,  but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
