A lesson from the past

Many years, I lived in guilt, shame, bitterness. I felt less and many times life seemed worthless. I took solos in my head on perfect suicide scenes and notes and they came out fine, but I couldn’t find a heart to take my life.

The sequence to my deluded and depressed mindset was backed up by an empire that had a giant inscription MY PAST. Too great to leave behind, too dark to bring me light, too shameful to let me stand and everyday I relieved it, falling beneath the surface.

Somehow, I came to stand on the surface even to move on. This is my testimony:

“Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead. ”

Forgetting might not be suitable but I started by letting go of the hurts from those times in my life. I rather created for myself a lesson outline that taught and helps me through. Truth is, I was too tired to do anything but guess what? I did not have to do it on my own. God helped me, His love sustained me. All of which happened because I let Him.

Let God help you too. You would want to think on His holiness, hatred for sin and His sacrifice and would rather not go to Him.

If there is one thing you ever need to know is that God loves you anyway. His love is not dependent on a role you play or anything at all. God’s love is available for you to acknowledge and then it will take it’s course to shaken your life.

So regardless of the past, your past. God still loves you and He has a brilliant future fashioned for you.
