Tommorow Land
Many of us have been made to believe that it is never going to get better in the future. We have been told by our older folks, peer groups and everyone who has an opinion that it’s only going to get worse for us and that there is no need hoping for a better tomorrow. Unfortunately, we have come to accept this and succumb to these theories and it has become a matter of how long before it really gets worse.
So many problems on display on the front pages of the newspapers, on the news headlines, on the trending topics of the social media but no one seems to be talking about the solutions. Often times all we hear is how bad things are and how worse they will get in the nearest future and everyone just seems to prepare for the worst.
Everything just seems on the verge of a collapse with a lot of us joining the bandwagon of those patiently anticipating the worst. It has become a world already in doom just waiting for the reality to set in. Like a young Pastor said some days ago; “the battle is won or lost before the fight”.
However, I choose not to join that train. I choose not to believe that it is all over and all hope is lost. I choose not to stop dreaming. I choose not to stop believing especially in the impossible. I believe that whatever tomorrow holds depends on us and our actions and we have a decisive role to play in the outcome of tomorrow.
We can choose to accept what has been foretold or we can choose like King Hezekiah to change what has been foretold.
Should I stop dreaming because no one else believes in my dreams or because no one seems to believe in their own dreams?
Should I also accept the fate I have been made to believe is my fate or should I take my life in my own hands and carve out the future I desire?
There are two forces warring against each other; one is Good, the other is named Bad/Evil. The one who wins is the one that is well fed. What you feed more will grow into a reality and what you are fed with becomes real to you. The system feeds the bad and tries to convince you to the same. However, you have a choice; you can choose to follow the system in feeding the bad and succumb to the fate it has let you believe or you can decide to feed the Good, going against the system and believing that the impossible is actually possible. You have to choose for yourself what to believe.
I believe in hope
I believe in my dreams
I believe in a great future
I believe in a world full of good people doing great things
What do you believe?
I believe in a better tomorrow. Do you?
I am a dreamer who believes anything is possible as long as you believe.
You Are Never Alone.
